Yep, it happens. FOX affiliate in Austin is reporting this morning that an Oklahoma boy is recovering today after his tongue became frozen to a metal pole. Firefighters responded early yesterday morning to find the 8 year old boy on his tippy toes stuck to the pole.
His older brother dared him to lick the pole … and he did. He was reportedly stuck there for about 10 minutes until water was poured on the stuck tongue to free the boy.
Sounds like the older brother will be a future firefighter. It’s in his blood.
